Immune Support Tea Recipe


(Borganic.org) The following is a great decoction ie tea that can be used daily or for months at a time. This recipe has been used to strengthen our natural defenses against colds, flu and other diseases. Use 5 cups of water to 4 oz of herbs. Simmer the herbs for 45 minutes , let cool for 15 minutes and strain through a fine screen filter. This should yield about a quart of finish tea.

Recipe:
Astragalus root 1/2 Part
Ligustrum 1 Part
Reishi 1/2 Part
Shiitake 1/2 Part
Licorice 1/4 Part ( Add to pot just after simmering is finished; Steep with the other herbs until warm - about 10 to 15 minutes. Remember 25% of water should be added to compensate of evaporation.
