(Borganic.org) This is breaking News . The WHO has just raised the level 5 N1HI status to level 6 Pandemic status. Can someone tell me why there has been a black in the media for the last month when there has been such a world problem? Why has the WHO raised the level to 6.

Flu pandemic alert raised to phase 6
11 June 2009 -- On the basis of available evidence and expert assessments of the evidence, the scientific criteria for an influenza pandemic have been met. The Director-General of WHO has therefore decided to raise the level of influenza pandemic alert from phase 5 to phase 6.

I agree, I think it's strange that they raised it as well when they say they are not really changing anyting between level 5 and 6. The question is why did they rais it and what does that mean.
